Monaghan County Council are delighted to announce that the annual St. Patrick’s Day parade will take place on Monday the 17th of March 2025. Over recent years, Monaghan County Council has received feedback highlighting a demand for the provision of more street foods at the event. To address this demand, and enhance the overall parade experience for patrons, we are inviting local food vendors to consider the opportunity of providing a food stall at the event.

The St. Patrick’s Day parade attracts large crowds to Carrickmacross town, offering an excellent opportunity for local food vendors to showcase their offerings. Monaghan County Council are particularly interested in vendors offering quality food and beverages, options for diverse dietary preferences, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Expressions of Interest should be submitted via e-mail at carrickmacross@monaghancoco.ie or
alternatively in hard copy to Carrickmacross-Castleblayney Municipal District, Riverside Road, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan A81 RY22. The closing time and date for receipt of Expressions of Interest is 4:00pm on Monday the 17th of February 2025. Expressions of Interest should be clearly marked ‘St. Patrick’s Day Food Vendors’.
