Bernie’s Kitchen expands with Evening Dining
~ Visit from Celebrity Chef Nevin Maguire ~
Bernie’s Kitchen is expanding its service and now offering evening dining for private parties. Located on O’Neill Street, Carrickmacross, owner and chef, Bernie Duffy and staff officially launched ‘Evening Dining at Bernie’s Kitchen’ recently with a visit from Irish celebrity chef, restaurateur and television personality, Nevin Maguire.
“Given the success of Bernie’s Kitchen over the past year and customer interest in our food products, we realised a demand for evening dining,” said Bernie Duffy, owner and chef, Bernie’s Kitchen. “We’ve already hosted a number of private parties for evening dining and they have been a great success. There’s nothing better than sharing good food and wine with friends and family in a relaxed friendly environment and we are very pleased to now cater for private parties such as birthdays, anniversaries, retirements, hens and stags and other special occasions.”
Seating for Evening Dining at Bernie’s Kitchen will be from 7pm onwards 7 nights a week and will cater for parties of up to 30 people. Availability for evening dining is in demand and needs to be booked by having a consultation with Bernie in advance.
The menu will change from what is on offer during the day in Bernie’s Kitchen. A set menu will cost €25 for four courses and a range of foods will be served to include Bernie’s infamous spiced chicken wings and blue cheese dressing; sticky molasses baby back ribs; slow cooked lamb shanks; oven baked cod with sun dried tomato and olive tapenade; monkfish curry; cheesecake brownies; rose hip pavlova; speciality coffees; macaroons and gourmet cupcakes.
Over the past 10 years, Bernie Duffy has been working in the catering industry in Ireland and abroad. Her chef experience includes fine dining, bistro style and casual dining. As well as running Bernie’s Kitchen, she also has a cake making business and outdoor catering service.
