Fine Gael TD Sean Conlan has welcomed the news that funding has been allocated for the Patrician High School in Carrickmacross for the addition of two new class rooms.
“The Patrician High School has undergone some excellent renovations in recent years and this funding will further enhance the facilities available to the students of Carrickmacross and surrounding areas.”
“This funding follows on from a commitment from Government to ensure that our schools receive the funding necessary to improve school buildings in order to cater for the growing needs of our young people and to provide the best possible environment in which to learn.
The contract for these works will be put out to tender and will in turn provide a further boost to the construction sector.
