During April, Cavan/Monaghan Education & Training Board, (CMETB), will commence a range of part-time courses in the Workhouse, including:
- Administration and Information – Level 5
- Arts and Crafts
- Childcare – Level 5 (requires Garda Vetting: see below)
- Communications – Level 5
- Computers
- Conversational German
- Creative Writing
- Digital Media – Level 3
- Employability Skills – Level 4
- History – Level 4 and 5
- Retail Skills – Level 4
- Spreadsheets – Level 3
- Stress Management and Mindfulness – Level 3
Note:
BTEI courses are free to those in receipt of a Social Welfare payment, have a Medical Card, or have less than a Leaving Cert qualification. Otherwise, the cost is €50 per BTEI course.
