Cavan Monaghan Connects (CMC) is a new regional initiative that brings together mental health information, supports, community services, training, and local events for people living in Cavan and Monaghan—all in one trusted place: cavanmonaghanconnects.ie.
CMC was established by HSE Connecting For Life Cavan Monaghan, in partnership with Mental Health Ireland, Cavan and Monaghan County Councils, and a broad network of local community & statutory organisations. Content is verified and curated to ensure clarity, accuracy and accessibility. Our aim is to help people find the right support, at the right time, as easily as possible.
Why it matters
● Navigating support can be confusing. CMC reduces the noise and signposts to verified services.
● Shared, consistent messaging across partners helps reduce stigma and encourages help-seeking.
● A single public hub strengthens collaboration, avoids duplication, and amplifies what’s already working locally.
