Now the leaving cert exams are coming to a close, it’s time to look at what preparation is needed for going to college. Youth Work Ireland Monaghan – will host three information evening’s these will take place on:
18th June/ 9th July/ 23rd July @ 6.30pm in Carrickmacross Youth Information Centre O’Neill Street.
This will include information on Cost of Going to College, Accommodation, How to Survive College life, Higher Education Grants available through the Student Universal Support Ireland (SUSI), documentation required for your Grant application and when and how to apply. All parents and students are welcome.
Youth Information Service provides a free and confidential service to young people and those who work with the on a wide range of topics such as, education, careers, employment & employment rights, travel, visas etc. They also provide Broadband Internet Access, preparation for Driver Theory Test, CV preparation and Secretarial service for small fee.
