It’s that time of year! St. Patrick’s Day is upon us once again and Carrickmacross – Castleblayney Municipal District are now taking names of organisations, businesses, bands, community groups etc. who wish to take part in this year’s fun! We want to replicate the success of last year’s event and make this year’s parade even bigger and better.
There will be prizes for the best bands and best floats incorporating the theme of Irish Myths. Also, this year, as part of an initiative to promote environmental awareness throughout the county, there will be an additional prize for the best float incorporating a green agenda. The parade will start at 3pm on Monday 17th March 2025 and is sure to be a great day.
