The Science of Addiction – Cavan Monaghan Science Festival

Prof. Joe Barry from the school of medicine in Trinity College Dublin will join us for a look at the science of addiction and recovery in Carrickmacross Library: 14/11/2022: 7pm
Is addiction something genetic, psychological or social? What is it that causes addiction and how can it be broken? Prof. Barry will look at the main scientific theories behind addiction and recovery. He will also open the floor to a Q&A after his presentation.
