Sisters of St. Louis Thanksgiving

The Parish of Machaire Rois will acknowledge and celebrate the enormous contribution made by the sisters of St. Louis in Carrickmacross and surrounding areas since 1888 at a special liturgy in St. Joseph’s Church, @ 7.00pm on Friday 16th June. A commemorative plaque, which will be permanently displayed in the Church will be blessed at the conclusion of the liturgy and the recently presented sculpture of the Pieta will be consecrated, by Bishop Duffy. Refreshments and photographic display will be hosted i the Phoenix Centre afterwards. All are welcome to this community gathering, especially all those associated with the Sisters over the years.
