Carrickmacross Street Festival

Following on from another hugely successful June Bank Holiday ‘Street Festival’ 2023, and two very popular ‘Bingo at D’Local’ events during the summer, the Carrickmacross Festival Committee are holding our Annual General Meeting next Wednesday night, 27th September, in the Shirley Arms Hotel at 8pm.

As always, new members are welcome to attend, and the organizing committee are always keen to welcome new people.

For those who might be interested, the Festival Committee is involved, in some way or other, in most public events that take place in the town; including the St Patrick’s Day Festival, the Halloween Festival (Feile Samhain), the switching on of the Christmas Lights, charity events and fundraisers. It is an energetic group who offer a wide variety of roles, to suit everyone’s interests, and, while it is a busy committee to be a part of, it is extremely rewarding to see the impact our work does for Carrickmacross.
