Patrician High School with their Project ‘Easy Farming’, with Dave Bergin, BT and Heather Humphreys TD.
Inver College with their Project ‘Do Sports Drinks really hydrate better than water’, with Dave Bergin, BT and Heather Humphreys TD

“The Young Scientists Exhibition is always a really inspiring and encouraging event for so many schools up and down the country, where they have the opportunity to display the talent and ingenuity of their students.

“In recent years, the Young Scientists Exhibition has acted as a showcase for potential investors in this country to become aware of the raw talent that we have coming up through our schools in the areas of science and technology.

“I saw so many clever, creative, and innovative projects across the range of sciences on display and I was particularly pleased to have the opportunity to meet a number of pupils, parents and teachers from Cavan and Monaghan at the event. These pupils and the excellent projects they had on a display really are a credit to their schools and their counties and it is proof of the great talent we are lucky to have in our own region,” said Deputy Humphreys.
