| Carrickmacross Local Development Group Ltd., was formed in December 1992. Controlled by a management committee, it is the umbrella group which organizes and supervises FAS Community Employment in the town of Carrickmacross and environs.
In the course of their work participants in FAS Community Employment receive training in new work skills and retraining in Job Seeking and Back to Work Skills. The long-term unemployed, signing on the live register for a year, can avail of this scheme, which provides quality training, and work experience. |
