Congratulations to the hard working volunteers who again did Carrickmacross proud with their effort this year in the Tidy Towns Competition. They were rewarded with a Brozne Title and gained an extra point on the scoring from last year. It was a pity that the judging panel visited the town on the Tuesday after the Festival when the clean up would still have been in progress after another successful Carrickmacross Festival.
