Carrickmacross Chamber of Carrickmacross is delighted to announce the first ever Carrickmacross Christmas Festival Weekend. The weekend will kick off with music and the switching on of the Christmas lights by the man in red on Saturday the 29th of November. Sunday the 30th of November will see a fond favourite back again – the Santa Run, dress up as Santa or Ms S Claus and take part in a fun 3km or 5km walk or run. Please note these dates have changed from the original dates posted.
All events are free and watch out for some special gifts, and vouchers over the weekend. Speaking about the event, Chamber President Emma Gollogly said it was important that the businesses and retailers give back to their customers who support them all year round. She is encouraging people to visit the town and take park in the events, in what promises to be a fun, family weekend.
