Carrickmacross Tidy Towns in conjuction with Monaghan County Council are calling on all residents and businesses to take part in a Spring Clean. The clean up will take place across the town of Carrickmacross. Residence organisations, sports / social groups and local businesses are all asked to get involved and clean up their own area.
The event will start at 10am on Saturday 26th of April, meet in the car park behind Supervalu where litter pickers, bags and gloves will be supplied. Gerry Hand, speaking on behalf of Carrickmacross Tidy Towns said that “the group are going for their 13th Gold Medal in 2025 and its a reflection of the community spirit of people in Carrickmacross”, he urged everyone to get involved in the event.
