Business People Need To Be More Vigilant With The Security Of Their Premises Says Hand

A member of Carrickmacross chamber of commerce says business people need to be more vigilant with the security of their premises.

Jim Hand says business owners can sometimes become complacent and think they’ll never be robbed. Mr. Hand’s comments come ahead of the busy Christmas period in Carrickmacross and in light of two aggravated burglaries in Castleblayney and Dundalk recently.

Jim Hand who runs a shoe shop in the South Monaghan town told Northern Sound news that Carrickmacross chamber of commerce received a talk from Gardai on safety measures in the last 12 months. And Jim Hand says people in business should avoid having a set routine when going to the bank.
