On the 31st January 2018, We will be starting our annual preliminary beekeeping course. With a short introductory talk.
In Hughes Lounge Middletown Co Armagh. At 7.45pm
The course will run for 7 weeks plus practical hands on techniques and attending our monthly meetings on the second Wednesday of each month except July.
Beekeeping is an increasingly popular, very enjoyable and deliciously rewarding hobby. Helping the environment in your neighbourhood, with a guide plants to grow for bees and other insects.
Experience local beekeepers will lecture on the ancient craft
The Course Fees will include Membership of Federation of Irish Beekeepers’ Associations (FIBKA)
With a monthly magazine An Beachaire (The Irish Beekeeper).
Beekeeping has associations throughout Ulster, Connaught, Leinster and Munster
Everyone looks forward to. The Annual Beekeeping Summer Course will take place at the Franciscan College, Gormanston, Co Meath from Sunday 12th to Friday 17th of August 2018. Many members go to hear the Lecturers as a day visitor or for the week, from all over the world.
