Carrickmacross.ie web site is an information resource for residents and visitors to Carrickmacross and the surrounding parishes of Donaghmoyne, Killanny, Magheracloone, Inniskeen, Raferagh and Corduff.

Carrickmacross is a busy market town, located centrally between Dundalk, Monaghan town, Cavan and Ardee. Carrickmacross was recently by-passed which has relieved the town from heavy traffic and has reduced the traveling time to Dublin Airport to a little over 1 hour via the M1.

If you are visiting Carrickmacross you are very welcome, we hope we can give you some information on things to do, places to stay and places worth a visit. Carrickmacross Sewerage Scheme Works Programme - July & August 2010

Crew 1:  Castleblayney Road
Works for the laying of 2 bulk water meters are currently taking place.  Additional works at connections and testing will continue in this area until the end of July.  This crew will them move to Ross road and then to Chapel Lane to complete connections.

Crew 2, & 3:  Mullanarry Road
Work is continuing for the laying of sewer and water mains at this location.  A road closure is currently in place until the 20th of August, 2010.

Crew 4 : Dundalk Road Pumping Station
Work is continuing for the next four weeks to complete the pumping station.
  The Drumcondrath road pumping station and the site is being prepared for kerbing.

Crew 5 : Rockdaniel Road
This crew will be finishing off works to prepare for the reinstatement of roads at Rockdaniel road, Cloughvalley and Chapel Lane lower.
Parts of Cloughvalley will be closed to facilitate full width resurfacing over the next two weeks.

Crews 6: Rockdaniel Road
This crew will be installing gullys on the Rockdaniel Road.
